The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM- MAS) has awarded Production Year 5 to obtain the M829A4 120mm, Armor Piercing, Fin Stabilized, Discarding Sabot with Tracer (APFSDS-T) Cartridge, herein referred to as the M829A4 Cartridge. The contract is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) production contract in the amount of $63,873,200.20. This contract is a full scale production contract awarded pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements" and FAR 6.302-3 "Industrial Mobilization; Engineering, Development, or Research Capability; or Expert Services" to, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, acting by and through its Defense Systems Sector (NGDS),in Plymouth, MN. The contract was solicited on a Sole Source basis to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation. Only was proposal was received in response to the solicitation. This contract action was not awarded competitively.
