The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - (CCDC AC) has a requirement for a portable fume extractor that will be used for mitigating odors and dust when working with 3D printers and 3D printed parts. These printers use different technologies to print, some involve small particles that create dust while others will use or generate Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), or they will do both at the same time. A fume extractor is required that can handle both VOCs and dust at the same time. CCDC-AC is looking to identify suppliers that have a product(s) capable of meeting these requirements: Explosion Proof for class 1 and 2, division 1 and 2 Able to handle dust and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), such as Phenoxyethyl Acrylate (PEA), Isopropyl alcohol, Acrylates, Acetones, Methanol, Ethanol Removes 95% of particles 0.5 to 1 micron Customized Filter Combinations to suit almost any fume removal application 10 ft. arm 1.5 HP 115V Single Phase Motor Airflow 1100 CFM with filters Exhaust Baffled, Motor Not in Airflow Switch and Power Cord Silencer with exhaust louver Submission Details: This is a market survey for information only, and shall not be construed as a request for a proposal or as a commitment by the US Government.
