Solicitation Notice for the following pre-solicitation notice: Title: Glock weapons systems, spare parts and accessories Description: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201(b), "For acquisitions of supplies and services other than those covered by the exceptions in 5.202 and the special situations in 5.205, the Contracting Officer must transmit a notice to the Government wide Point of Entry (GPE) for each proposed contract action meeting the threshold in 5.101(a)(i)." The U.S. Army Contracting Command-New Jersey, on behalf of PM Soldier Lethality, intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to Glock, Inc. , pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The scope of the requirement is to procure non-standard weapons/commercially available GLOCK weapon systems 17, 19, and 26 including Gen3, Gen4, and Gen5 generations for the models, magazines, spare parts, and individual accessories. The requirement will be satisfied through a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract (five (5) - one (1) year ordering periods). The maximum contract value is $15M. The NAICS code for this requirement is 332994 with the size standard of 1,000 employees. The Solicitation release is anticipated to be on or around 15 days from the date of this notice. Please note this notice DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
