The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armament Center, intends to issue a sole source Request for Quote (RFQ) to Thermo Electron North America LLC, 1400 Northpoint Pkwy Suite 10, West Palm Beach, FL, 33407-1976 for the procurement of Service and Maintenance for Thermo analytical equipment. This sole source RFQ is in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Thermo Electron North America, LLC is the sole source equipment manufacturer and service provider for all Thermo Fisher Scientific instruments, parts, training, technical support, field service support, and software. The applicable NAICS for this effort is 811310 and the small business size standard is $8,000,000.00. The resultant contract period of performance shall be twelve (12) months from date of award with four (4) additional twelve (12) month option periods THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFQ). Further, this synopsis is not a guarantee of a future RFQ and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered quotes and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
