Purpose: The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey (CCNJ), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting a Market Survey on behalf of the Joint Program Manager Office Towed Artillery Systems (JPMO-TAS) to identify potential sources for Trimble Nomad 900L Data Batteries, Charging Docks and AC Adapters for the D30 Artillery Gunnery Computer. Description: This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of JPMO-TAS or RDECOM-ARDEC. The contractor shall be able to procure and deliver to the United States Government the following Nomad 900L Battery – Part Number: ACCAA-101 / ADI77NIVOCM Specifications: Batteries shall conform to physical dimensions of Trimble 900L Data Collector and be approx. 2.5" x 1.5" x1"; voltage shall be 3.7V +/-0.1V; battery capacity shall be 5100mAh +/- 200mAh. The quantity required by the USG is six hundred thirty-one (631) batteries. Battery Charger and AC Adapter – Part Number: ACCAA-650 / ACCAA-651 / ADI77NIVOCMC Specifications: Chargers shall match aforementioned batteries and OEM equivalents; AC Adapter shall be included; AC Adapter shall be able to interface with plug type C or F. The quantity required by the USG is three hundred one (301) battery chargers and AC adapters. Please note, the deliveries of the requirements shall be assumed as FOB Point: Destination of an overseas location (not within the United States). All interested vendors are requested to provide: Statement of capability describing the vendor’s capability to provide the items. Rough Order Magnitude Cost to provide supplies/services. Rough Order Magnitude Schedule to provide supplies/services inclusive of and taking into consideration First Article Testing (FAT) to ensure the batteries, chargers and AC adapters are compatible and a direct fit with the current equipment. One of each part shall be sent to Picatinny Arsenal, NJ for fit testing. Submissions of designs that are not fully compliant with all requirements are also encouraged so that JPMO-TAS and RDECOM-ARDEC may assess the capabilities of all currently available sources. The Government recognizes that proprietary and/or classified data may be a part of this effort. If so, clearly mark such restricted/proprietary and classified data and present them as an addendum to the nonrestricted/non-proprietary and unclassified information. As a result of this Sources Sought a Request for Proposal (RFP) may be issued to acquire the aforementioned batteries, chargers and AC adapters. Participation in this Sources Sought is completely voluntary by the vendor and as such all costs to develop the vendor’s response are to be borne by the participating vendor.
