At this point in time, the only information on forces transmitted to the structure is from an available document, which only provides the peak loads in the bolts. This results in additional engineering time designing unnecessarily complex structures to handle these maximum static loads. To improve this process it is necessary to measure the dynamic loading created when different weapons are fired from the CROWS platform. To support the Development of a force measuring platform, for the CROWS vehicle integration effort, CCDC AC is conduction market research to purchase Kistler 9377C Force Sensor and parts to be used for CROWS force measuring platform. The Kistler force sensor or equal parts will meet the requirements of CROWS frequency response while firing. It will meet both initial impulse and entire recoil event. The Product Service Code is 1250 Fire Control Stabilizing Mechanisms. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334515 with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees.
