The purpose of this amendment is provide the Government's response to questions recevied from Industry. The United States Army Contracting Command – New Jersey, on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command – Armament Center at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is conducting market research to determine the capability of businesses to provide military ruggedized tablet kits and accessories to support the Artillery Fire Control Division. Background: The US Army is seeking potential sources for military ruggedized tablets for research developmental engineering and testing. The requirement is for four (4) tablet kits, with a kit consisting of a tablet, one (1) hard drive, two (2) batteries, power supply, keyboard, and mounting plate. The tablets need to meet the following specifications: HARDWARE Processor Intel Dual Core i7 @ 1.7 GHz (2.8 GHz Turbo) Memory 16 GB Main DDR3 RAM, 4 MB Smart Cache Hardware Security TPM 2.0 Ethernet Interfaces Gigabit Monitor Outputs Display Port Output Touch Screen Pressure activated resistive multi-touch, touchscreen Display Backlight Adjustable backlight, 800 cd/m^2 high bright to 0.1 cd/m^2 for Night Vision Goggle (NVG) compatible operations. When visual displays are to be viewed out of doors at night, no panel lighting current shall flow when the dimming control is in the FULL OFF position. The Product Service Code is 7021. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capability statement. Submission Details: Interested parties shall submit a brief capability statement. Standard corporate brochures are not desired.
