This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or request for quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain the following information: (1) The availability and capability of qualified sources; (2) Whether they are a small or large business relative to their size classification under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed acquisition (561790) with a small business size standard of $8,000,000.00. On behalf of the 99th Readiness Division, the United States Army Contracting Jersey (ACC-NJ) has a requirement for Snow and Ice Removal Services at the Orangeburg United States Army Reserve Center, 123 Route 303, Orangeburg, NY 10962-2209. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel and other items necessary to provide snow and ice removal services in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS) except as those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all federal, state and local regulations. The period of performance for this requirement could be a one, 12-month base period, and four, 12-month option periods to complete ALL SERVICES associated within the PWS. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract as a result of the solicitation to be issued. Attached is a DRAFT PWS and DRAFT Site Map for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this notice and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers.
