Contracting Command – New Jersey, Joint Armaments Division (CCNJ-JA) on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armaments Center has a requirement for one Jenoptik Opticline C1023, cylindrical measurement machine. The U.S. Army intends to satisfy this requirement by soliciting, negotiating, and awarding a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to JENOPTIK Automotive NA LLC, 1500. W. Hamlin Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48309. There are no other authorized distributors for this machine. The authority being utilized for the proposed effort is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(c). The resultant contract shall be a firm fixed price, commercial contract. The NAICS code for this effort is 333314 and the small business size standard is 500 Employees. JENOPTIK Automotive NA LLC is currently the sole manufacturer and distributor that can provide the Jenoptik Opticline, cylindrical measurement machine. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFQ/RFP). Further, this synopsis is not a guarantee of a future RFQ/RFP and should be not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered quotes/proposals, and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
