This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or request for proposals. The purpose of this notice is to obtain the following information: (1) The availability and capability of qualified sources; (2) Whether they are a small or large business relative to their size classification under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed acquisition: 238220 - “Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors” with a small business size standard of $16,500,000.00. (3) On behalf of then 99th Readiness Division the U. S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is issuing this Sources Sought Notice in an effort to perform market research to assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for Construction Project, CSS# 18412 – Replace Hot Water Pump and Expansion Tank (WV035). The place of performance is the PFC Ralph E. Pomeroy U. S. Army Reserve Center, 6 John Raine Dr., Rainelle, WV 25962-1456. (4) The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price type contract as a result of the solicitation to be issued. The Contractor shall have 30 Calendar Days from the Notice to Proceed Date to complete ALL TASKS associated with the Specification of Work (SOW), see attachments. Attachment(s): Attachment 0001 – CSS# 18412-SOW-Repair Hot Water Pump (DRAFT) Attachment 0002 - Picture CSS# 18412 Please be advised the Attachments provided are for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this notice and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as quotes/bids/offers. (5) In accordance with FAR 36.204, "Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects," the magnitude for this Construction Project is less than Less than $25,000. Provide a Response to the following: 1) Name of Company; Company Address; Point of Contact, with Name, Phone Number, Email Address, NAICS Code, DUNS Number, CAGE Code, and Socio-Economic Size Status (Large/Small Business/HubZone/8(a)/Woman Owned Small Business/etc.). 2) Contractor acknowledges a clear understanding of all tasks specified in the CSS# 18412-SOW-Repair Hot Water Pump (DRAFT). 3) Confirms full capabilities of completing the required work specified in the CSS# 18412-SOW-Repair Hot Water Pump (DRAFT). 4) Provide a capability statement for the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. 5) What type of work has your company performed in the past in support of the same or similar requirement? 6) What percentage of the work is your company able to complete, without subcontracting?
