The U.S. Army Contracting Command -New Jersey (ACC – NJ) on behalf of U.S. Army Protective Services Battalion (PSB), Criminal Investigation Division (CID), intends to award a brand name contract the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c) (1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1 (b) (1) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization, for purchase and install of Motorola Data Encryption Standard (DES) and Data Encryption Standard Output Feed Back (DES-OFB) encryption for two-hundred-fifty seven (257) Motorola APX-8000 Model 3.5 All-Band Portable Radios. This is a total Small Business Set-Aside. Delivery date shall be 90 days after award. All serial numbers and Flash codes shall be provided to the prime contractor no later than 5 days after date of award. All requirements can be found in the attached RFQ and SOW. Response date for this Solicitation is 15 September 2020 by 10:00 AM EST. All quotes shall be signed, dated and emailed directly to John A. Adamitis at john.a.adamitis.civ@mail.mil.
