The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command – Armaments Center (CCDC – AC), is contemplating the award of a sole source firm fixed price Deliery Order to be placed with Siemens Government Technologies, Inc., 1881 Campus Commons Drive, Suite 200, Reston, VA 20191 for the purchase of Siemens Teamcenter software licenses and support. Siemens Government Technologies is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the required Teamcenter software. Currently, no other existing software is technically acceptable. A corresponding limiting sources justification in accordance with authority FAR 8.405-6(b)(1): Items peculiar to one manufacturer, has been approved and is attached to this notice. A Letter of Contemplation for the aforementioned software licenses and support was sent to Siemens Government Technologies, Inc. on 12 August 2020 and a quote is due by 26 August 2020. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. The Government will not pay for any information provided under this notice. All inquiries to this notice shall be in writing.
