PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHED PDF - W15QKN20Q0028 Background: Manufacturing and Prototype Technology Division’s Prototyping Facility has been, and continues to be responsible for the fabrication of urgently needed prototype materiel. New equipment will provide the latest fabrication equipment to properly support the Research & Development (R&D) prototypes, short run productions and various other metal parts for the United States (US) Army Combat Capabilities Development Commands Armaments Center (CCDC AC) Prototyping Facility. Currently equipment is needed to support the manufacture of prototypes for several new programs. This effort will include the purchase, delivery, final installation and training of the equipment listed in the attached PDF W15QKN20Q0028. Scope: The Manufacturing and Prototype Technology Division requires a new Wire EDM that will provide for a needed capability and support the rapid manufacturing of test components to support the XM1158 and other development programs. This effort will include the purchase, delivery, final installation and training of one (1) George Fisher (GF) Machining Solutions CUT P350 wire EDM and one (1) GF Machining Solutions CUT P550 wire EDM, brand name or equivalent. There will also be an option to purchase two (2) additional pieces of equipment within the period of performance. The descriptions are listed in the attached PDF W15QKN20Q0028.
