Purpose: The Army Contracting Command (ACC) New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting a Market Survey on behalf of the Joint Program Manager Office Towed Artillery Systems (JPMO-TAS) to identify potential sources for Marine Corps Radio Hardware Integration Kit (HIK) for the M777A2 Lightweight Howitzer. Description: This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of JPMO-TAS or CCDC-AC. The contractor shall fabricate and/or procure the components for the HIK. The contractor shall package components into separate kits, and deliver each kit as defined. The components of the kits will be comprised of build-to-print, commercial-off-the-shelf, and vendor-specific items in accordance with the TDPL. The Radio Hardware Integration Kit (HIK) for the M777A2 Lightweight Howitzer will be used to build the Communication Location Enclosure (CLE) into a configuration that will be utilized with the AN/PRC 117G radio. The HIK consists of various Cabling, Brackets, and metal parts that will need to be procured, fabricated, and packaged IAW the TDPL for this effort. The Contractor shall ensure that the kits comply with the TDPL. Additionally, it is anticipated that the contractor shall provide Design Verification Test (DVT), Units, First Article Test Units, and Production units of component that make up the HIK. The Technical Documentation for this procurement will be Distribution C, and vendors will be required to fill out DD Form 2345 prior to receipt of technical data related to this sources sought. All interested vendors are requested to provide: 1. Statement of capability describing the vendor's capability to provide the items. 2. Rough Order Magnitude Cost to provide supplies/services. 3. Rough Order Magnitude Schedule to provide supplies/services inclusive of Design Verification and First Article Testing. Submissions of designs that are not fully compliant with all requirements are also encouraged so that JPMO-TAS and CCDC-AC may assess the capabilities of all currently available sources. The Government recognizes that proprietary and/or classified data may be a part of this effort. If so, clearly mark such restricted/proprietary and classified data and present them as an addendum to the nonrestricted/non-proprietary and unclassified information. As a result of this Sources Sought a Request for Proposal (RFP) may be issued to acquire the Radio Hardware Integration Kit (HIK) for the M777A2 Lightweight Howitzer. Participation in this Sources Sought is completely voluntary by the vendor and as such all costs to develop the vendor's response are to be borne by the participating vendor.
