Market Survey for US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armament Center - Laser Bore Mapping/Inspection System The US Army Contracting Command (ACC), New Jersey, Watervliet Arsenal, New York 12189 is conducting a Market Survey on behalf of U.S Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armament Center for Laser Bore Mapping/Inspection System. The potential offerors shall be able to provide the following: The Laser Bore Mapping/Inspection System shall consist of the required specifications: Bore Measurement Capabilities: 155mm M776/M284 Cannon Bore; Area Accuracy: ?0.001" reported measurements; Data Acquisition and Control Instrument; Self-Propelled Sensor Delivery Unit; Calibration kit with adaption to muzzle end of M776/M284 cannon tube; Laser profile scanning assembly for both specular and non-specular surfaces; Shielded umbilical cables ? 35 ft. in length; ability to support data analysis and reporting software post scanning; system shall provide data analysis station for processing collected data measurements; system shall accommodate bore analysis reporting software for scanned measurements; system shall accommodate automatic feature detection for rifled bores and ability to operate on 155mm M776/M284 bore; System shall accommodate 3D visualization and analysis workstation software; additional spare equipment to include but not limited to laser profile scanning; equipment, shielded cables, and analysis workstations; system shall provide portable capabilities and ability to ship in ruggedized shipping cases. Delivery of the Laser Bore/Mapping system shall occur within 10 weeks from the date of award. Training shall occur within 2 weeks from delivery, making the full timeframe for delivery and training 12 weeks from award. This effort is limited to the UNCLASSIFIED level. Vendor Questionnaire: The purpose of this questionnaire is to obtain information from industry to assist in the market research. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interest and capability to satisfy the above requirements by identifying the following items: 1. Company Name 2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 334516. 6. Commerciality: (a.) Our product as described above, has been sold, leased or licensed to the general public (b.) Our product as described above, has been sold in substantial quantities, on a competitive basis, to multiple state and local governments. The development of the product was done exclusively at private expense. (c) None of the above applies. Explain. 7. Location where primary work will be performed (if more than one location, please indicate the percentage for each location). 8. Major partners or suppliers. 9. Identify existing facilities, equipment and workforce (identify what percentage would be supporting this new effort and what additional resources would be required). 10. Provide minimum and maximum monthly production rates of past production of same or similar items. 11. Identify manufacturing, managing and engineering experience of like systems of equal or greater complexity. 12. Identify lead time, including supplier/design qualification efforts and production ramp up time, to meet full capability for production and sustainment. 13. Please provide any additional comments.
