All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on Federal Business Opportunities. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) located at Fort Dix, NJ 08640, on behalf of the United States Army Garrison (USAG) Fort Hamilton Department of Public Works (DPW), intends to issue a modification to extend the period of performance of Contract Number W91QV1-07-C-0038 for ten (10) months. The modification will continue to provide Base Operations Services including Solid Waste Management, Grounds Maintenance, Pavement Clearance, Facilities Maintenance - Vertical, Facilities Maintenance - Horizontal, Heating and Cooling, Wastewater Services, and Pest Management Services. The sole source modification will be issued to Re-Engineered Business Solutions, Inc. (RBS). This extension will have a ten (10) month period of performance and must be awarded by 15 March 2019. It is anticipated that a sole source agreement will be negotiated with the current vendor due to continuity, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The follow on effort to contract W91QV1-07-C-0038 is anticipated to be solicited as a competitive HUBZone requirement. Per FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) all responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any sources interested and capable of performing the work listed in this synopsis who would like to submit a capabilities statement must submit them in writing to the Contract Specialist by Thursday 31 Jan 2019 at 2:00 pm EST. Capabilities statement shall be no more than 5 pages. Please note this notice does not constitute an RFP and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. Responses to this announcement are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a guarantee of a future RFP/solicitation or an award.
