The U.S. Army intends to satisfy this requirement by soliciting, negotiating, and awarding a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Livermore Software Technology Corporation, 7374 Las Positas Rd. Livermore, CA 94551-5110. The authority being utilized for the proposed effort is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(c). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), in support of Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armament Center is currently seeking sources for LS-Dyna Consolidated License Purchase. This Sources Sought Notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought. In preparation for a possible future procurement, ACC-NJ is performing this Sources Sought to explore the market capability to support this effort and determine if a competitive environment exists. The Statement of Objectives identified under this Sources Sought is as follows: STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES: CCDC Armament Center objective is to acquire information on providing 30 JOBS unlimited core LS-Dyna license, and 35 Core LS-Dyna license. This access shall be available continuously without interruption. This Sources Sought seeks to inform the Government of market availability of license keys and support to CCDC Armament Center personnel related to installation of licenses on the High Performance Computing Clusters, allowing use of the program for 12 months after award. This includes the provision of software-related technical support and version updates for 12 months after award. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 511210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $38.5 Million. The Product Service Code is AC54. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement. SUBMISSION DETAILS: Interested parties shall submit a brief capability statement, demonstrating how they are capable of performing this requirement. Standard corporate brochures are not desired.
