This Sources Sought notice is for market research purposes only. The Army Support Activity at Fort Dix New Jersey has a requirement for Install Fiber Optic Communications to Ammunition Supply Point Magazine and Ranges for Fort Devens Forces Training Area, MA. The Contractor shall The Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor and material, equipment, supervision, incidentals, and services necessary to construct and install a new outdoor equipment support structure on the foundation pad for the existing ASP Magazine Area guard shack that is to be demolished. The Contractor shall supply and install an outdoor-rated communications cabinet designed for the enclosure of standard 19-inch rack-mounted communications equipment. The cabinet shall provide protection from the elements and provide sufficient ventilation for all equipment housed within. Cabinet rack space shall be no less than 4 rack units (4U) high. The Contractor shall attach the cabinet to the equipment support structure and provide grounding. The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price requirement. This requirement will be set aside 100% for small businesses utilizing NAICS Code 238210 with a size standard $14M. This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this Sources Sought, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. Responses to this Sources Sought should include the following submittal requirements: 1. Organization's name, address, e-mail, telephone and website address. 2. Provide a listing of three (3) most recent relevant projects your firm has performed. Include contract number, location, and dollar value, period of performance, scope of work and point of contact. 3. Does your company have the cash flow or resources available to manage a large contract if the Government pays on a monthly basis? Based on the projected workload, how long would the firm be able to sustain payroll should a delay in payment occur? 4. If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to immediately perform that portion of the requirement upon Task Order award and your course of action to attain the capability. 5. Your firms Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. 6. System for Award Management (SAM) registered NAICS codes.
