This Sources Sought notice is for market research purposes only. The Army Support Activity at Fort Devens has a requirement for Replacement rear door, and Vestibule entrance door for Fort Devens, MA. Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, material, supervision, and transportation required to perform the following work according to drawings and specifications: 1. Remove one pair of exterior steel entrance doors and frame 2. Clean existing surfaces of all materials and elements remaining after frame removal. Cut existing anchoring devices flush with existing wall surface and prepare said surface for new frame installation. 3. Install new pair of exterior entrance door and new door frame, components and appurtenances at the locations shown on the attached drawings and as specified here within a. Existing doors are broken, and framework conditions are poor. Existing doors do not operate properly b. The new doors and hinges and frame shall be designed to be complete, fully functional, true, plumb, in plane, and operational. This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this Sources Sought, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. Responses to this Sources Sought should include the following submittal requirements: 1. Organization's name, address, e-mail, telephone and website address. 2. Provide a listing of three (3) most recent relevant projects your firm has performed. Include contract number, location, and dollar value, period of performance, scope of work and point of contact. 3. Does your company have the cash flow or resources available to manage a large contract if the Government pays on a monthly basis? Based on the projected workload, how long would the firm be able to sustain payroll should a delay in payment occur? 4. If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to immediately perform that portion of the requirement upon Task Order award and your course of action to attain the capability. 5. Your firms Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. 6. System for Award Management (SAM) registered NAICS codes. Responses to this Sources Sought shall be submitted by 4 April 2019 at 10:00 AM EST to Rashida Funches at Rashida.d.funches.civ@mail.mil. Only e-mail submittals will be accepted The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price requirement. This requirement will be set aside 100% for small businesses utilizing NAICS Code 236220 with a size standard $36.5. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited.
