The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems (PM CAS) intends to issue a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) / Cost Reimbursement modification for the production, kitting, delivery, fielding, testing, and New Equipment Training (NET) of Mortar Fire Control Systems (MFCS). This modification will be issued under current Contract W15QKN-17-D-0007 with ElbitAmerica, Inc., 4700 Marine Creek Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76179-3505 to extend the ordering period by one year from 29 December 2022 to 28 December 2023 and increase the maximum contract value by $99,100,000.00 from $157,365,964.07 to $256,465,964.07. This proposed sole source action is pursuant to Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) Section 3204(a)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1(a)(2) -- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This modification is a result of the Presidential Buyback Initiative. The anticipated award date 28 December 2022.
