The AM-7651/A DSC processes airspeed, lateral acceleration, and collective stick position signals from their respective sensors, and pitch rate signals from internal gyros, to derive stabilator actuator control signals while also providing fault monitoring and built-in test capability. The CP-1446/A AFCC interprets the pilots’ inputs and aircraft movement in pitch, roll, and yaw, to provide flight path stabilization. The AFCC monitors for discrepancies between aircraft instruments and alerts the crew to failures. The AM-7651/A DSC and CP-1446/A AFCC are unique to the UH-60A/L Black Hawk helicopter family and necessary to maintain the operational readiness of Army aircraft deployed worldwide. Depot level support is critical and an essential element to fielding a full complement of the DSC/AFCC, and ensuring these items, and any future versions of the same equipment are repaired in an operational condition. The Government is requesting maintenance and repair services on the DSC/AFCC, with all repaired assets returned to a serviceable condition.
