The US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Armaments Center (DEVCOM-AC) performs energetic materials characterization to fulfill multiple missions across the DoD spectrum. Accomplishing the broad mission requires state of the art analytical instrumentation operated by highly trained chemists. Perkin Elmer manufactures many of these instruments and their performance is critical in completing the mission. The instruments must perform in accordance with manufacturer specifications and be quickly repaired when malfunctions occur. More specifically, the service shall include; One annual performance maintenance visit scheduled by provider (necessary for items annotated with a “1PM”) Onsite service visit within 24hrs Unlimited emergency breakdown visits Repair service parts included Travel costs to Picatinny Arsenal, NJ Technical and remote support during business hours (0900hrs to 1600hrs EST) Software updates (excluding software upgrades) Installation services for purchased hardware/software upgrades This effort is planned to be a single-award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), firm fixed price type contract.
