The Vehicle Protection System (VPS) Laser Warning Receiver (LWR) is an Acquisition Category (ACAT) II program currently in production as a survivability sensor for ground combat vehicles. The Army is assessing market research to inform a potential production contract for award in FY26. The Government will utilize a Performance Specification to solicit for prospective vendors. A potential requirement could exceed procurement up to 4,000 kits.
