The Virology & Emerging Infections Department of the U.S. Naval Medical and Research Unit No. 6 (NAMRU-6) conducts the study entitled "Characterization of the infectious causes of acute febrile and exanthematous illness in Latin America". NAMRU-6 collects samples not only in Peru but also in a variety of countries throughout Latin America with the support of collaborating institutions. For the specific purpose of sample storage at study sites, NAMRU-6 is purchasing 06 ultra-low temperature upright freezers that will be shipped to the following study sites: Bagua, La Merced, Cartagena, Meta, Medellin, and Tegucigalpa, where samples will be stored prior to shipment to NAMRU-6 laboratory. For the proper and safe operation of all freezers, it is deemed necessary to also purchase the same number of power stabilizers. Considering constant energy fluctuations in those locations, freezers must work with tailored power stabilizers so they do not go damaged. Requirement: Input range: 120VAC - 300VAC Output voltage: Dual (220VAC/110VAC) Power: 6KVA Monofasic Quantity: 06
