The 30th Contracting Squadron is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to gather industry information with respect to Scrubber Media Replacement at Vandenberg AFB, CA. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB), and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result. The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, may be made available on the beta.SAM.gov website (https://beta.sam.gov/). Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applies to this request of information: 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Government is seeking to identify contractors capable of performing a recurring service to vacuum out 6 sections at 72 cubic feet of Purafil Select media, dispose of old media and then refill the 6 sections with new media (in sling bags). Media is anticipated to be non-hazardous and able to be disposed of through normal disposal methods. The exact length of time between recurrences is to be determined based upon initial sampling results after commissioning of new equipment, but is expected to be required at least annually. The information requested will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency.
