This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only. Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code anticipated is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The applicable Small Business size standard is $8 million. The 30th Contracting Squadron is seeking commercial sources with the technical expertise to provide the following requirement for the 583rd Missile Maintenance Squadron (583 MMXS) on Vandenberg AFB, CA: Description of Requirement: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, tools, and transportation necessary to provide preventative maintenance and support for the industrial equipment utilized by the 583rd MMXS to support the Follow On Test & Evaluation (FOT&E) program & Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) program with Depot level fabrication and repairs of the Minuteman weapon system in accordance with (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and associated attachments. See PWS Attachment 1, Equipment List. As noted in the Market Research Questionnaire, the Government requests interested parties submit a brief description of capabilities, anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar products offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Any responses involving teaming arrangements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. All information received in response to this announcement that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses will not be returned.
