Virginia Contracting Activity is seeking to identify qualified sources that have the ability to meet government requirements for a high resolution mass spectrometer (TRL 8) that enables the detection and real-time analysis of various chemicals and industrial materials. The mass spectrometer must weigh less than 10 pounds with extensive libraries to include chemical weapons, toxic industrial chemicals and toxic industrial materials. However, as noted above this is only an RFI and not responding to the RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP.
