The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ) intends to issue a commercial, single source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Quakewrap for nonrecurring pile repair supply solutions for Naval Construction Group Two -(NCG2) to conduct pre-deployment training in Gulfport, MS. Gulfport requires NCG 2 to use Quakewrap’s patented Pilemedic pier repair supply solutions on their pier. NCG 2 also uses Pilemedic solutions on deployment. Training with the same supplies that will be used on deployment is critical to NCG 2’s deployment mission success. This requires that Pilemedic be procured, to the exclusion of all other brands, to meet Gulfport’s and NCG 2’s deployment preparation training requirement. Quakewrap, a small business, is the only authorized distributor of Pilemedic solutions. The required delivery date is NLT 30 September 2022. The applicable NAICS Code for this product is 325520 with a size standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources that believe they are eligible to provide this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability and technical representation to provide this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within four (4) calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that technical acceptable items are available and that it is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this product through a single-source contract, then a single source acquisition award will be made.
