Pursuant to FAR Subpart 5.2—Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions, THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT TO ACTION. The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) intends to solicit for Virtual Bookstore Services and award an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with the successful offeror. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A solicitation document will be issued, and proposals will be requested from responsible offerors. Proposals, when requested, should in accordance with the Statement of Objectives (SOO), refer to the attached Draft SOO, contained in the Solicitation, when available, and all applicable laws, codes, and regulations. This requirement is full and open to all potential offerors. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 424920- Book, Periodical, Newspaper Merchant Wholesalers with a standard size of 200 employees. This requirement is anticpated to be a Single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a 60-month period of performance. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for any information provided in any response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
