All offerors must contact their past performance references to ensure they have submitted the surveys to the right email addresses by the due date. This attachment is now a fillable PDF for convenience, however surveys submitted on the previous version are acceptable as long as they are delivered on-time. Update the solicitation response date to 5 July. Time remains unchanged. Update ordering period dates to 1 Sep - 31 August for the base period and all options. Update the total duration of the contract within clause 52.217-9 to 3 years Offerors must submit a signed copy of amendment 0001 with their quote. Solicitation Questions and Answers 15 June 2022: Question: In Section 52.217-9 (Option to Extend Term of the Contract) sub section c, it says total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed years and 10 months. There was no number listed before years. The last two contracts have been 5 years and with this one being for 3, I was wondering if that clause were set to leave it open to extend to a full 5 years or if it was to mean something else. Answer: The missing number of years was an oversight and is corrected through Amendment 0001. The total duration if all options are exercised is 3 years. Question: Would it be possible to consider extending the date for submission? Answer: Under normal circumstances 30 days would be considered a sufficient amount of time for quote preparation, however as a result of corrections being made that may impact quote preparation and past performance questionnaire submission the solicitation closing date has been extended. Question: Would it be possible to send file copies of the patterns? Or at a minimum examples of the lapel shapers for the coat? Answer: All required patterns will be provided after award to the winning offeror. Please reference the provided specifications for quote preparation purposes. Original Notice: This is a request for quotations for the manufacturing of US Air Force Academy Cadet Distinctive Uniforms in accordance with (IAW) United States Air Force Academy specifications. The Distinctive Uniform consists of the following garments: Men’s Service Jacket, Women’s Service Jacket, Men’s Service Trousers, Women’s Service Slacks, Women’s Service Skirt, Men’s Overcoat, and Women’s Overcoat. This is a requirements contract IAW FAR Clause 52.216-21 and except as this contract otherwise provides, the Government shall order from the Contractor all the supplies or services specified in the Schedule that are required to be purchased by the Government activity or activities specified in the Schedule. Offerors must submit a quotation that is responsive to the attached SF1449 solicitation and should carefully read the requirements in all attachments. The instructions to offerors and evaluation criteria is listed in Attachment 10.
