21 CONS, Detachment 1 intends to solicit a requirement for design and manufacturing of a two (2) lane Containerized Small Arms Training Facility with an indoor shooting range minimum of 25 meters, cap... 21 CONS, Detachment 1 intends to solicit a requirement for design and manufacturing of a two (2) lane Containerized Small Arms Training Facility with an indoor shooting range minimum of 25 meters, capable of simultaneously training and testing two (2) persons per round. The facility must be capable of qualifying personnel using M4 rifles and M9 pistols. The facility will be used at Thule Air Base, Greenland. If the system is manufactured in the US, the Offeror is expected to ship it to McGuire Air Force Base. If the system is manufactured in Europe, the Offeror is expected to ship it to Ramstein Air Base. The Government intends to solicit using a Request for Quote. This requirement will be solicited under full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 332311, Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing. Solicitation will be posted to FBO on or around 6 September 2019. The Government anticipates award of one firm fixed price contract. The Request for Quote is expected to be evaluated as one total evaluated price (TEP). The solicitation will be posted under solicitation number Thule_Firing_Range. The Government will not distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail or fax the solicitation or any amendments. Amendments, if any, will be posted to www.fbo.gov. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued.
