**UPDATE 24 MAY 2023: 8(a) DIRECT AWARDEE (ANO) HAS BEEN SELECTED AND ACCEPTED BY THE SBA. AWARDEE INFORMATION WILL NOT BE RELEASED PRIOR TO AWARD. NO FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED TO SAM.GOV.** This requirement is anticipated to enter the Small Business Administration 8(a) Business Development Program. The United States Transportation Command is seeking responses from contractors in the Small Business Administration 8(a) Business Development Program, including but not limited to, contract holders in the GSA 8(a) STARS III GWAC, that are interested in participating in a technical capabilities virtual meeting. The Customs Process Automation (CPA) program enhances the Defense Distribution System (DDS) by providing the capability to process border clearance data in a format agreeable with the individual host nation. This format allows commercial air duty-free shipments entry as provided by each country's Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA). The formats and language vary by destination host nation to satisfy its individual requirements, and CPA provides them with printed forms. The system also provides clearance information to US customs clearance officers, foreign customs authorities, and commercial and military carriers. This information is in accordance with the host nations’ operating environments. In those cases where shipments arrive in the host nation without advance data, CPA provides the capability to produce customs clearance documentation using data input by the carrier and/or consignee. The objective of this requirement is to provide software development support, IT Security, administration, and expertise for CPA. This includes all software code and associated components and integrations. Software development support shall include any phase of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including concept development, planning, requirements elicitation and analysis, systems design and development, coding and testing, deployment, implementation, integration, troubleshooting, security posture, documentation, and software application maintenance and sustainment. **UPDATE 24 MAY 2023: 8(a) DIRECT AWARDEE (ANO) HAS BEEN SELECTED AND ACCEPTED BY THE SBA. AWARDEE INFORMATION WILL NOT BE RELEASED PRIOR TO AWARD. NO FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED TO SAM.GOV.**
