Contractor will be reviewing Patient Movement Requests (PMRs), having discussions with the sending facilities / physicians and the receiving facilities / physicians to ensure the appropriate personnel, equipment, medical and/or non-medical attendants are available for patient moves and the receiving facility has the capability and capacity to receive the patient. With the TRANSCOM Patient Movement Requirements Center Americas (TPMRC-A) personnel, the Validating Flight Surgeon discusses the clinical issues with the Nurse & makes sure all required data is collected to make a decision to validate or not. With the Operations Officer, they’ll ensure there is safe transportation to and from the respective air terminals, the flights are scheduled and ensure any operational challenges are overcome.
