18 December 2020 - USTRANSCOM is seeking additional information on the TMS software capabilities from the TMS developers/providers through a questionaire. The questionaire has been updated to revise the page limitations from 15 to 30 pages. The questionaire is attached to the RFI announcement. Responses are due 22 January 2021. USTRANSCOM will not accept RFI responses from the original announcement published in June 2020. ARCHIVED - This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued for informational and planning purposes only. The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) is seeking information from industry to assist with the possible development and planning of a contract requirement for a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Transportation Management System (TMS) that supports shipment lifecycles from plan through pay, COTS Supply Chain Software to support lifecycle logistics operations, and COTS financial software options to meet USTRANSCOM’s world-wide transportation and financial management operations. USTRANSCOM is requesting responses from both small and large businesses to determine industry’s ability to provide the necessary services. This is NOT a formal Request for Proposals and the Government may or may not solicit or award any resultant contract based on the information received. USTRANSCOM is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals for this requirement. This notice should not be construed as a commitment of any type by the U.S. Government to take or not take any action. Please note USTRANSCOM will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI.
