THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL - Pursuant to FAR 5.203(a), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of the Joint Service Provider (JSP), intends to award a Firm fixed Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis to Zantech IT Services, Inc., 8300 Boone Blvd. Ste. 300, Tyson Corner, VA 22182 (CAGE Code: 50JB5). The current contract number HQ034-16-F-0004 ends on May 31, 2019. The period of performance is estimated to be for one three-month base period and three one-month option periods totaling six months. The anticipated period of performance is 1 June 2019 to 30 November 2019. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The contract is to provide the Macintosh Technologies Center of Excellence with information technology (IT) engineering and Tier 3 support services for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Washington Headquarters Services Supported Organizations (WSO), and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) user communities, which will be referred to as the Office of the Director of Administration and Management (ODA&M) and the Joint Information Technology Services Provider-Pentagon (JITSPP) and other Defense Agencies. The mission of the Macintosh® Technologies Center of Excellence (Mac COE) is the integration of Macintosh computers into the Department of Defense (DoD) network by providing reliable and sustainable solutions and to ensure a secure environment through innovative engineering and configuration techniques. The Mac COE vision is to become the preferred source for developing, testing and integrating Macintosh technology into the enterprise environment. The specific objectives of this acquisition are to: (A) successfully integrate/maintain Macintosh technology in the JITSPP Enterprise environment; (B) provide Tier 3 engineering support for Macintosh systems; (C) support innovation by piloting Macintosh technologies; (D) establish and document best practices for the management and integration of Macintosh systems on the enterprise network; (E) collaborate with other Defense Agencies on Macintosh initiatives; and, (F) support iOS development efforts. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541512 - Computer Systems Design Services, with a size standard of $27.5 million. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations.
