This notice is for market research purposes only; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awared from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (SJAFB), has been tasked to identify potential sources, market capabilities and market conditions for the acquisition of: Certified Support or Therapy Dogs/Handler Services to provide a "meet and greet" on the flightline at Seymour Johnson AFB. This effort is to enable positive interactions with members of the Seymour Johnson team with the goals of raising morale and offering an outlet for stress relief. Ideally, this effort would be scheduled on a weekly basis that is flexible (in regards to exact day/time) to the demands of the flightline mission. Contractors would be required to walk long distances on the flightline and would require safety (steel) toe boots. Contractors may also be required to provide their own hearing protection. All submitalls received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must determine and ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of interested, capable commercial companies. Responses are to be emailed to john.parker.24@us.af.mil.
