DLA Aviation intends to add 129 NSNs to an existing long-term, sole-source contract with Pratt & Whitney, which has about 4.5 years remaining and a possible 4-year option. The contract requires supply of parts, planning, inventory management, and engineering support, with supplies ordered annually for delivery within the same calendar year. While the procurement is unrestricted and the government intends to solicit the OEM directly, other interested sources, including surplus dealers, must notify the contracting officer and provide specific evidence of their ability to supply the items.
