Under the contemplated contract, Honeywell, the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) will provide commercial manuals for the T53-703 manuals to ensure accuracy, compatibility, and suitability for Air Force use to maintain technical integrity. The performance of the contract necessitates the use of the only known source of the data, Honeywell, who owns the technical data and copyrights and has the experience and expertise to meet compliance and issuance timeframes for publications that directly support the war fighter. Placing the Technical Publications Support Services for the T53-L-703 Engines on a five year contract with a one year basic and four one-year options will provide the Air Force maximum support capability through continuous coverage without interruptions in the delivery of changes/revisions to the critically needed manuals. No feasible actions that could develop future competition exist at this time. The period of performance will be a period of 5 years.
