The contractor shall successfully deliver three on-site, 8-hour Multistory Firefighting Strategy and Tactics Courses. Courses will be delivered Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in the same week to accommodate all shifts.This requirement supports Security and Emergency Services, Fire and Emergency Services efforts for members to remain proficient in all aspects fire prevention, fire suppression, and technical rescue operations. Fire and Emergency Services primary mission is to save lives. Having personnel trained to respond to all hazards is a mission requirement, due to new construction projects on the installation firefighters are facing new challenges and this course will bridge the gap. At the completion of the courses, students will have the knowledge and ability to perform critical skill sets to perform firefighting operations safely and efficiently in multistory buildings. Training will be held at DLA Distribution Center at New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The training shall be provided to a maximum of 45 employees of DLA Installation Operations Susquehanna.
