The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gather information from potential sources to assist in determining the feasibility of the construction services required for the repair of Building 4750 at Mather Field, California and to identify potential sources capable of satisfying the requirement. This project will redesign and re-allocate existing space in order to accommodate secure area operations and administrative space for the California Air National Guard (CA ANG) at Mather Army Aviation Support Facility near Rancho Cordova, CA. The total square footage of Building 4750 is approximately 11,777 SF. The scope for this project is to convert approximately 3,208 SF of space to secure area space and renovate 3,892 SF of standard administrative office space. The project will include the removal or relocation of interior walls. The partial renovation of the facility will include upgrades to finishes, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. No exterior work is included, other than any work related to the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades and site improvements as required per the security antiterrorism standards. This building is shared with the California Army National Guard (CA ARNG) and others that will remain working in their portion of the building during construction. The estimated cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Interested parties are requested to submit a brief capability statement that includes the following information: A positive statement of intent to submit an offer as a prime contractor, A completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (see attached), A listing of projects completed during the past three (3) years, for both government and private industry,. The type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact should be included. Indicate whether you were a prime or subcontractor and provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor, if you were a subcontractor, and A brief outline of the resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract Responses to this sources sought notice are not considered offers and will not be accepted as such. This notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a solicitation will be issued, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this sources sought notice. Responses must be submitted to the government point-of-contact by the date and time specified in this notice.
