This is a sources sought notice in attempt to identify commercial vendors interested in overhauling and refurbishing the following 2 combined items: 1) SSBN 726 Cl Gyro Compass, MK 27 2) Electronic Control Assembly, MK 27 Any resultant contract will result in the Navy turning over "F" condition assets with the end result being for the Navy to receive the same number of "A" condition assets back. Thie item in question is the CI Gyro Compass currently deployed on U.S. Navy Ohio-class submarines. The refurbishment insturction (RI) is attached below.
