SOURCES SOUGHT FOR Ciena communication EQUIPMENT FOR FOREIGN MILITARY SALES (FMS) The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) on behalf of the Communications-Electronics Command Security Assistance Management directorate (CECOM SAMD) is issuing this Sources Sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having the ability to procure Ciena Fiber Optic (FO) communication equipment and perform the installation in the country of Jordan to fulfill Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements. The result of this sources sought/market survey will contribute to determining the method of procurement if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market survey, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions. The U.S. Government requests that interested parties submit the following information: A brief description of your company, to include, but not limited to CONUS physical address, SAM.gov UEID and company point of contact. Your company’s ability to procure Ciena FO communication equipment. Identify if your company is currently on an established US DoD IDIQ contract. Please identify if this/these contract(s) have FMS scope and the ability for FMS funding to be used for acquisition. Please provide contract number, period of performance and Government Point of Contact. If your company can meet item 3, please provide past performances of Ciena equipment procurements and installations Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). A brief description of the experience your company has with DoD Contracts and specifically Foreign Military Sales (FMS) type contracts.
