This Sources Sought is for Market Research purposes only. 55 CONS is conducting Market Research to locate Venors capable of providing the following items listed below. Please provide a break down of available items and an expected delivery timeframe, along with busniess size and socio-economic status. Statement of Need (SON) 55 CES/CEO Ventrac 4500Z w/Accessories Purchase Date: 14 SEPTEMBER 2022 Project Title: Snow Removal Equipment Purchase Objectives: Purchase Ventrac 4500Z Tractor with accessories to perform snow removal and ice treatment from Offutt AFB common area sidewalks, entrances, and campus walking surfaces. General Requirements: Two (2) Ventrac 4500Z, 4000 series tractors with center pivot oscillation steering capability or equivalent with a gasoline power engine with a minimum of 32.5 horsepower, and list of snow removal and ice treatment accessories for each individual unit at a minimum. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, services and incidentals with a “Turn-Key” piece of equipment delivered to customer. No alterations, additions, or deletions shall be made without prior approval of 55 CES. Each tractor must have the following features: Enclosed cab (KW452) on the snow removal tractor and must include a heater, a defrost fan, a mirror kit, a strobe light kit, a hazard lights kit, a windshield washer kit, and installation onto tractor. Power Broom (HB580) for clearing and removing snow/ice down to the pavement surface. Broom must have adjustable speeds, reversible direction, adjustable angles and clearing width of 58 inches. V-Blade (KV552) for cutting through deeper snowfalls. Blade must be a full trip blade and have adjustable angles for each wing. Snow Blower (KX523) for blowing heavy snowfalls away from the walking surfaces being cleared. . Drop Spreader (SA250) for precise and even spreading of ice melt onto walking surfaces. Spreader must be able to be controlled from the cab. Spare tires with wheels/rims (4 each) with all-terrain tread. All accessories must have associated wiring/harnesses included to enable compatibility with the tractor for turn-key operation. Quality Assurance The Contractor shall perform quality assurance activities that ensure all equipment and accessories operate in a safe manner.
