Headquarters Air Mobility Command Directorate of Communications (HQ AMC/A6NA) requires SkyBond subscriptions to support Satcom Direct Routers (SDRs) on 26 aircraft. Under the contemplated contract, the contractor shall provide SkyBond channel bonding which combines multiple streaming channels of Inmarsat SwiftBroadband service to achieve higher data rates necessary to enable real-time communications applications on aircraft. SkyBond's channel bonding aggregates up to four channels together providing a larger data pipeline and delivering faster speeds. SkyBond enables higher bandwidth advanced features to aircraft for voice, video, and data.
