PEO Soldier, SMD PMO has a requirement to identify and procure a prototype sink unit scrub that has a pressurized hot and cold-water supply dispensing water for use in cleaning the hands of personnel and selected medical equipment. It is a self-contained sink capable of supporting greater than 100 lbs. of water weight with a tank-less electric water heater and pump and total weight of less than 550 lbs. The sink bowl capacity volume must be greater than 5880 cubic inches. The sink is intended for use in a field environment. This instrument provides adequate mechanisms for cleaning personnel hands before surgery to prevent potential infections. Please see attached.
