Intent to Single Source -- see FAR 13.106-1(b) The 366th Financial Acquisition Squadron proposes to award a five-year firm-fixed-price contract to Rees Scientific Corp NCRKL9YLY2X4 for validation and technical support of the Rees Scientific Corp Centron temperature monitoring system installed in the Mountain Home Air Force Base medical treatment facility. In 2020, Mountain Home Air Force Base competed the requirement for a temperature monitoring system to be installed in the base medical treatment facility for temperature-sensitive medical supplies. Rees Scientific was awarded contract FA489720C0007 and their system was installed. This new requirement is a follow-on system support agreement for which Rees Scientific is the sole source vendor for the manufacture, sales and service of software and hardware for the Centron Monitoring System. There are no third-party vendors approved or trained to provide service on Rees Scientific Monitoring Systems. In order to maintain warranty and guaranteed operating status per the manufacture specifications, Rees Scientific must be the sole provider of parts, labor, service system expansion, and validation of said system. No quotations or offers are requested. Responses received pertaining to this notice will be retained for consideration in later actions.
