This is NOT a solicitation, but market research to determine potential sources for the scope of work listed. SCOPE: The work under this requirement consists of annual maintenance of multiple Security Engineered Machinery (SEM) Shredders and Disintegrator to include the following: QTY EQUIPMENT 2 SEM Model Formax FD8732HS Optical Media & Paper Shredders 1 SEM Model 0202 OMD Optical Media Shredder 1 SEM Model 0301 Jackhammer Hard Drive Shredder 1 SEM Model 23/5 Disintegrator LOCATION: All required maintenance shall be performed within buildings 1279, 289, 290, & 291, Naval Air Station Truman Annex, Key West, FL 33040. SCHEDULING: The requirement calls for annual, factory designated maintenance of the units mentioned above. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: In general, the work shall consist of the following: •· Annual blade changes or sharpening on SEM Disintegrator as needed •· Annual inspections, cleaning, lubrication, calibration, and/or adjustments per unit on the machinery •· Submit a copy of service report after each inspection This requirement calls for authorized SEM factory trained service providers, as SEM will not warranty any services made by anyone other than an SEM authorized/certified technicians. This notice does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Further, we are not currently seeking proposals; therefore, DO NOT request a copy of a solicitation or submit a proposal as a result of this notice. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to these sources sought and that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to these sources sought will be solely at the responding party's expense. Not responding to these sources sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, should one be issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise from a response to the notice. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps website for additional information pertaining to these sources sought. Interested parties should include their company name, address, phone number, point of contact, CAGE code, company size status and whether they are a U.S. or foreign-owned firm. All interested parties must provide a response containing a written capabilities statement, confirming they can comply with the government needs, as specified above. All responders to this Sources Sought Notice understand, by submitting this written statement, they are certifying they can meet ALL criteria.
