Serv C26-134 Daily Freezer Replacement (Lay Up Room)
The Air Force is conducting market research for a one-year turnkey service contract to replace the existing refrigeration systems for two walk-in freezers in the Layup Room of Building 9001 at Tinker AFB, OK, within the Oklahoma City–Air Logistics Complex. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, disposal, installation, electrical work, startup/testing, and operator training, with new systems compatible with existing 208V single-phase power and freezer box panels and capable of maintaining a –10°F setpoint. Equipment must use low-GWP A2L refrigerant (R454A preferred), meet EPA 2026 requirements, and include specified evaporator/condenser units or equivalents with required controls and safety components. Proposals must include procurement/delivery lead time not exceeding 10 weeks and the service time required to complete installation for both freezers. Both large and small businesses, including joint ventures and teaming arrangements, are encouraged to respond with capability documentation, and the government will not reimburse survey participation expenses.
