Building 1300 is fully sprinkled 2. Is the sealing of fire penetrations and the testing of asbestos/lead paint (as listed in the general requirements) required for this engineering study ??? No engineering study needed. We need to identify the deficiencies and updated life safety drawing per SOW. Sample Life safety drawing (52 Page ) is provided in the shared documents ------------------------------------------------------------------ 7/19 Answers to Questions---------------------------------------- It is assumed survey documentation shall reference the design requirements of Chapter 14 and Chapter 6, Sections 6-8 and 6-11 of UFC 4-510-01. It is assumed other design criteria chapters or chapter sections for military medical facilities are not required to be evaluated. Is this correct? The provided UFC guidance is for construction activities. With that said design criteria chapters or chapter sections for military medical facilities are not required to be evaluated. However, we will need to have all the new construction area needs to be included in the new life safety drawing. We are working with MATOC team to obtain the new drawings. The contractor shall incorporate all the changed floor plan and life safety information in the new drawing. The new drawing shall be similar to the sample drawing that we provided (52 Page document) It is assumed detailed hydraulic evaluations of existing sprinkler systems are not required for this survey documentation. Only installation deficiencies reported or observed are required to be evaluated. Noted. Is this correct? Yes It is assumed a detailed evaluation of the sequence of operation for the existing fire alarm/mass notification system is not required for this survey documentation. The General Requirements section of the Safety Survey SOW includes responsibilities associated with construction activities. Please clarify which of these requirements apply to this SOW.
