The 45th Contracting Squadron is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to gather industry information with respect to obtain the services and expertise necessary for the operation and management of the DoD STARBASE Program at Patrick Air Force Base (PAFB), Florida. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB), and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result. The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov/). Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The government is seeking to identify ALL qualified, experienced, and interested businesses capable of performing the type of work as described herein. The following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is being considered for use: 923110 Administration of Education Programs. The purpose of the requirement is to provide the government with a contractor that shall provide all services for the management and operation of the STARBASE program in accordance with the PWS. See the attached Draft Performance Work Statment (PWS) for more details. The proposed contract would be a firm-fixed-priced contract. All interested parties are invited to respond and must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov/). Additonally, the government is seeking industry input (comments and suggestions) and questions or concerns on the attached Draft PWS. The information requested will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency.
